  • Contrary to previous years, all events at all venues throughout our 2026 Astro Awards events are a welcome experience for the whole family!

  • We encourage you to eat before or after the events! Each venue offers access to a full (cashless/credit card only) bar, and The Paramount Theatre offers popcorn and light movie snacks during the Astro Awards show on Sunday. You will, however, be closer to an abundance of great food options throughout the weekend.

General Admission tickets holders will select a seat on a first-come-first-served basis after GA doors open. There are no assigned seats. View the seating chart: https://www.austintheatre.org/plan-your-visit/venue-info/seating-charts/

  • All venues are wheelchair-accessible and special seating is available at the Paramount Theatre. If you can't/don't wish to transfer from a wheelchair to a seat, please request a wheelchair seating location by January 3. Reach out to info@everydayastronaut.com to do so.

  • Downtown Austin offers an array of fantastic hotel and AirBnb choices to choose from, all within walking distance to our venues at the Paramount Theatre and 800 Congress. While you have many to choose from, we recommend the Aloft, Element, or Westin hotels downtown!

  • For all events throughout the weekend, you're welcome to come as you wish! Feel free to dress in casual, fun, or semi-formal attire.

  • If you purchase an Orbital or Apogee ticket, you'll get VIP perks that include meet-and-greets for selfie and signature opportunities with Tim Dodd and many of the panelists and nominees!

  • Yes! That's what makes this show so special. We get to come together to celebrate and honor the humans behind the missions!

  • The awards are given to the representatives of each space organization that wins an Astro Awards for the most innovative, inspirational, and important missions of 2025!

  • The award show is dedicated to recognizing the engineers and companies making these missions possible—the very efforts that give us content to create and celebrate. That said, we will feature content creators on select panels and warmly encourage their participation in the celebration of our shared passion!

  • People can suggest missions they think deserve an award near the end of the year when the Everyday Astronaut team starts to solicit for nominations on social media. The bigger awards are voted on by Everyday Astronaut supporters.

  • In January, Austin, TX, typically experiences mild to cool weather. The average high temperatures range from 60°F to 65°F (15°C to 18°C), while the average low temperatures can drop to around 40°F to 45°F (4°C to 7°C). It can feel cooler in the mornings and evenings, and there's a chance of rain, though it's not a particularly rainy month. The weather is usually comfortable for outdoor activities, but it's a good idea to have a light jacket or layers for warmth, especially in the evenings.

  • If you're a student looking for your place in the industry... this is the perfect event for you! You'll be able to talk directly to the leaders of the most influential spaceflight organizations and get a feel for what it's like to work in the industry! If you'd like to claim your 20% student discount, just email info@everydayastronaut.com from your .edu email address and we'll respond with your discount code!

  • We're focusing on delivering the best in-person experience to the audience! But, we may live-stream the event this year (stand by for confirmation). As always, we will record the awards show and upload an edited video to the Everyday Astronaut YouTube channel at a later time.
